Summary of Work
This position will be the primary bookkeeping responsibilities involve preparing bills for monthly Social Service Board meetings to be submitted to county auditor, recording bills into ledger/computer, check receipt and expenditure printouts, submit payroll to auditor, maintain payroll, prepare and submit financial reports to the State, various clerical duties as assigned. This position is the back up EBT person for the Office and has responsible for issuing, maintain issuance logs, reconciling the EBT card supply. This position will also be eligible fordetermining eligibility for the IV E foster program, determining reimbursibility and making FC payments for foster care Children. Will also be responsible for inputting the data into the CCWIPS and FRAME system. Job duties also include tracking hours worked for staff, leave earned and used and maintaining a spread sheet of this information. Other duties as assigned.
Computer literacy is an absolute must. About 90% of the work done in on a computer. Must be familair with Excel spreadsheets.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
