Security Guard
Patrol building and grounds to prevent property, patients, employees and visitors from the threat of danger. Enforce hospital parking rules and regulations and monitors parking area. Apprehends and takes appropriate actions for the detention, removal or dispersion of individuals involved in infractions. Qualifications:
Your resume must demonstrate at least 6 months of specialized and 6 months of general experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
GS-04-Specialized
Experience:
Experience such as administrative, technical, clerical, military, or other work that involved following written procedures, rules, or regulations in contacts with coworkers, supervisors, or members of the public to provide a service, respond to inquiries, or obtain information. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
