Administrative Support Assistant (OA)

Initiating, receiving, reviewing, correcting, fingerprinting and forwarding all Public Trust, CNACI and NACI Background Investigation forms VIA EQIP (Electronic Questionnaire Investigations Processing) to the Great Plains Area Office. Maintains and completes QAPI Log and Monthly Report for Fort Yates I.H.S. Hospital as well as completing QAPI monitors for Human Resources and Background Programs. Completes travel arrangements for meeting rooms, lodging, and transportation for various meetings including participants and speakers. Copies and collates packets of materials/information for the meetings. Completes travel arrangements and travel orders for Administration staff. Incumbent is responsible for requesting personnel actions via EHCM. Examines the accuracy of the SF-52's covering all types of personnel actions; recruits, promotions, data changes, separations, etc. Advises and assists supervisors with drafting SF-52's, OF8's (etc. Maintains SF52-Request for Personnel Action Log. Follows up on pending or returned actions in EHCM. Distributes appointment documents to new employees, advises new employees on proper completion of documents and reviews documentation before assembling and routing to area HR Staffing Specialist. Assembles and prepares for distribution, the orientation/benefits packet prior to EOD. When completed by employee, reviews for completion, copies and submits to area personnel. Confers with employees and supervisors regarding benefits issues and payroll problems. Recording Secretary for Executive Leadership Team and SRSU Governing Body Assists the QAPI Nurse to ensure that materials needed for review are prepared in advance of meetings and are available to the AO/CEO. Prepares reports and minutes following proceedings. Qualifications:
GS-6:
1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least next lower grade level. GS-7:
1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks:
For GS-6:
Experience working with a variety of correspondence in proper formats using word processing programs, office automation, data collection, and tracking information; experience creating manual and electronic calendars; serves as the point-of-contact for an office and refers issues to the supervisor; performing data entry into an automated timekeeping, travel systems and ordering supplies. For GS-7:
Performing specialized administrative tasks in correspondence management, office automation, data collection, and tracking information; managing manual and electronic calendars; serves as the point-of-contact and resolves problems for the designated office; answers questions regarding policy and procedures on a variety of specialized office tasks, time keeping systems, travel systems, and ordering of supplies. You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade Requirements:
Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year of service at the next lower grade level. Time-In-Grade provisions do not apply under the Excepted Service Examining Plan (ESEP).

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
